Diamondruff N' Tumble
"Toby"

Aug. 30, 1996 - Oct. 25, 2005
Neutered
Sire: Behold Outback Chipper of RMW
Dam: Behold Outback Lacy of RMW
Above: Toby under the coffee table at 10 weeks.
Toby was one of a kind. He was never a small bundle — but a big hunk of furry love. From the minute I saw him, there were no other pups in the whelping box.
I only saw Toby.
Early in 1997 we began learning in weekly herding clinics with Judy Forster who
runs the dog trials for the Mid State Fair in Paso Robles every year.
But Toby had another calling as a therapy dog for autistic children in the Sonoma / Napa area. He spends his days with autistic children — grinning, groaning and
wiggle butting on the bean bag as children read to him. He loves kids! And we love you, Tobster — you are indeed the most special Diamondruff Dog.
Sadly, in October 2005 Toby went to the Rainbow Bridge. He died from cancer;
a tumor was pressing on his spinal cord and he could hardly walk. Until the end
he had such a happy spirit! He was my best friend. He was always with me.
Whenever anyone came to the grooming shop, Toby would smile
and greet them. He loved everyone & every dog. He was one of a kind and
he
will forever be in my heart!
