Susan Edwards is owned by her dogs. Susan's love for Australian Shepherds
began in the horse, cattle and sheep barns at Cal Poly University 30 years ago.
As an animal science major, her work revolved around animals, and as an
avid horse person since childhood, she was constantly in contact with"the little blue dogs with bob tails."
In 1974, while purchasing a show horse in Kentucky, she noticed the rancher
had a new litter of Aussie pups. She brought home a horse and a pup that day,
and her love affair with this very special breed has been going strong ever since.
Susan has pet/companion and performance/show Aussies.
They are worked, trained and loved on a daily basis as well as shown in the
breed ring...but first and foremost, are family companions.

Susan's daughter Rebecca stays busy with motherhood and her new son,
who will be two in July.
Jessica follows an agriculture career, teaching at King City High School.
She is busy with FFA, livestock judging, and graduated from Cal Poly last
year with her credential and Masters degree.
Above: daughters, Jesse and Becca...along with many other "kids."

Susan owes many thanks to Peggy Albertson of Red Banks and Carrie Rollins of
C-Star for their help and guidance through the years, and for the priviledge of
owning such wonderful dogs Homey and Reba. These two dogs haven given me
so many years of pleasure and devotion!
