Susan was fortunate to find the perfect beautiful setting for her kennel and
home in the woods of the Sierra foothills. After years of trial and error, she
has combined the beauty of the woods she has always loved with a kennel
that is perfect for her family of Aussies.
The kennels are right next to the house so all the dogs feels part of the family.
The whelping area is in her bedroom with access to a sunny deck overlooking
the forest. The pups stay right in the house with her until 4 weeks, then learn the doggie door and go our onto a large deck that leads around to the pupply play
yard, "Ruff House." The play yard has a full range of very small obstacles that allow the pups to play all day and have fun while gaining confidence and coordination.
Susan calls it her "Naughty Little Puppy Club!"

Large sliding glass doors make it easy to observe and evaluate the pups while
they interact with adults and kids, and take part in all the actions of daily life.
Adjoining the Ruff House is a large grassy area with a small kiddie pool, chickens
and ducks for running exercise near the older dogs, allowing the puppies to be protected so that they don't get hurt.
Adjoining this is the large kennel area for the other dogs, covered by beautiful
cedar and pine tres, as well as an additional large open grassy area.
The dogs are housed in a large indoor kennel at night, which also has a
full grooming area, tub, crates, etc., where Susan does her dog grooming.
She has been in the grooming business for 15 years.
Susan's project for Spring is a full agility course. This home for her and her
Aussies is truly a labor of love and represents what she has envisioned.
She feels that she needs to devote all her time to do a good job of
managing the care, training and love that goes into her program. Her pups are not
just left in a kennel while she goes off to work -- they need constant attention.
This is her purpose, it is heaven on earth for her!

All puppies are sold on a contract. Most importantly, we feel breeding dogs is a
great responsibility. Puppies are a love affair for Susan. We spend lots of time and energy properly socializing, handling and loving each pup so they reach their full potential. Each home is carefully selected and educated, and each puppy properly placed to ensure these pups live long and happy lives with their new families.
All pups are to be spayed or neutered, except for performance / show pups
which are on a separate contract or arrangement.
We always welcome and encourage visitors (including the human kind), give eferences and love to have our puppies come back to visit.
